Facebook recently made Timeline available to everyone . Some are loving facebook timeline while some are hating . Those who have opted for timeline and are unsatisfied didn’t have a way to get back their old profile pages . But with a trick you can get back your old facebook profile .
Facebook has not made timeline available on Internet Explorer 7 and Internet Explorer 6 , so if you don’t want to see timeline you can use the older versions of Internet Explorer browser and if don’t use Internet explorer then with some simple browser tricks you get back the old facebook . The trick works with all best browsers
Disable Timeline in Google Chrome
Right Click the Chrome icon and Select Properties.In the target box, add the following line of code leaving a space after chrome.exe
For Windows 7/Windows vista add
–user-agent=”Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 7.0; Windows NT 6.0)”
For Windows XP add
–user-agent=”Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 7.0; Windows NT 5.1)”
Click on “Apply” and go to Facebook Your profile should get reverted to the old interface from the new Timeline view.
Disable Timeline in Mozilla Firefox
Install User Agent Switcher add-on and Restart the Firefox.After Installing, User Agent Switcher button should be visible in Navigation bar, if not Just Right Click on the Navigation bar and Click customize and drag & drop the User Agent Switcher add-on to the Navigation bar. Click the User Agent Switcher Button in the Navigation bar and Choose INTERNET EXPLORER 7.
Disable Timeline in Safari
Open Safari & click “Alt” button to display menu.Now, go to Developers > User Agent > Internet Explorer 7.0 .Restart the browser and then go to Facebook.com.You’ll now see your Facebook profile with the old interface and not the new Timeline interface.

I would like to reverse the Timeline on Facebook to the orginal way I had before I added it. I can’t recieve comments from my friends on my status updates. I’ve tried the Internet tricks and still can’t reverse it. Could you give me a detailed instructions to reverse the Timeline?

Yes, cos Facebook Timeline is permanent and cannot be reverted. Every solution i’ve seen online is simply a browser trick that makes one’s profile look like the old profile. All the same i think i prefer the timeline…. So why’ll i wanna revert?
I want the old facebook not the new timeline. But I don’t know enough about computors to follow what your saying. If you don’t change it back I don’t want facebook anymore. It’s too confusing.

Sign on your FB page. If Timeline comes up, click the back button, you know the blue big arrow on the left side of your screen, the arrow you click when you have missed something on the previous page as in the shoes on previous page! Or the “facebook word above your profile photo on the left, the one lined up with silhouttes of “friends, message, notifications.
The above this will take you back to the “Classic” back-in-the-day FB page that we all started with. With your new-found calm, go over yours and your friends’ posting. Then,
if you want to revert to Timeline, coz you are feeling antsy, CLICK on your photo on the upper right on the navigation bar, you won’t miss it, it has your thumbnail photo. RIGHT SIDE, hello, near “Find Friends” It will take you to Timeline.
After five minutes and you are tired of Timeline, click the BACK arrow again or the “facebook” above your profile photo again.
It works! I promise.
I would like to reverse my timeline to the old site. I have many issues with the timeline, including not getting messages.

The click on Facebook thing worked for me yesterday but today it just takes me back to my news feed, hrmph Any more idea?
