Is is possible to make multiple facebook accounts with single email address ? Yes you can make multiple facebook account with single email address if you have a gmail email address . With this small Gmail trick you can make multiple facebook accounts .
There is a small bug in Gmail because of which Gmail ignores the dot (.) in the email address . so following email addresses in gmail are actually the same.
bill.gates@gmail.com
bi.llgates@gmail.com
billgate.s@gmail.com
If you have a gmail id you can test it yourself by sending emails to that address changing the positions of dot
So the trick is sign up to facebook with your gmail email address by changing the positions of dot (.) . All those facebook accounts will be actually associated with the single gmail account.
So if you want multiple facebook accounts hurry up before facebook knows about this Gmail bug .

Amazing but is this working correct ?

Thanks this trick works great
Hi Abhishek. i have to only two acc create no more plz more acc. create option …
Awesome Man !!! but it will mix all your facebook mails in one account.. but really good
if u r saying then it must be working.. but don’t u think its not safe from user point of view?
Suppose a person created a facebook account by id myname1@gmail.com…. Then another user created a fb account by id my.name1@gmail.com and both account will be joined even if the two users are unaware of each other.
Yes very true , if that user feels any suspicious use of his id , he can delete that account and even that fake fb account made with his id as forget password link will be sent to the same id
That’s a very nice point Ajit. I personally think that Google is still unaware how a minor bug could be a very big problem for the privacy of the users.

This is a Dumb question… If Your email ID is myname1@gmail.com then How can any other User create a id my.name1@gmail.com ? Once an ID is created by the name myname1@gmail.com then my.name1@gmail.com , m.yname1@gmail.com , etc., belong to only one person.. So no two persons can have the same ID with varying Dots… Stupid Question You Moron… And Abhishek how come even You are answering this moron in his way… I thot U must b knowing that all these IDs belong to One and the Same person.. No one else can vary the dots and create another ID….
So even If you send a mail to m.yname1@gmail.com it will be delivered to the inbox of myname1@gmail.com..
you are very correct , ”
If you send a mail to m.yname1@gmail.com it will be delivered to the inbox of myname1@gmail.com.. ”
but facebook was not able to distinguish whether myname@ …. and my.name@…. are same in the past , so people were able to create multiple accounts with same email id , and you can see from comments above that some guys have used this trick successfully
but facebook has fixed this bug , and now you cant trick facebook like that
I don’t believe this is a “bug” in Gmail; I believe it is a documented feature, one that doesn’t have to be used with dots alone. [I haven't checked the Gmail docs lately so you may want to look into this on your own.]
With Gmail you have the ability to add a plus sign (+) followed by additional text that Gmail will disregard. So, if one wanted to make multiple Facebook accounts, I suspect one wouldn’t need to have a dot in the address, the person could use the following…
billgates@gmail.com
billgates+whatever@gmail.com
billgates+fb2@gmail.com
billgates+facebook@gmail.com
Hope this helps!
This wont work and its not working i tried just now..@echo:’+’ cannot be a part of e-mail id..its invalid
@Prashanth:
The plus (+) worked for me. I got an email in my account with firstname.lastname+test@gmail.com just as echo described it
yes it works , prashanth might have made some mistake
I never knew about this and mostly would never have come to know.
Thank you for the usefull and informative post…
Thanks It worked for me made 2 fb account with same id
+ isn’t working for me now…facebook says please enter a valid email address
and dot is also not working, facebook says there is an existing account with this email address
nice it works gr8
not a gmail bug – its part of the spec. FB should validate
