Twitter Helps Woman Find Her Missing Dog




We have seen wonders of social media when we heard about How Twitter Helped A Man Recover His Stolen Laptop , Boy uniting with his mother after 21 years using Google  , in an another similar incident a Dublin woman found her lost dog with twitter’s help 

Deirdre Anglin lost her dong Jack Russell Patch when it disappeared from her home at night. Soon after Patch went missing Anglin posted pictures of her dog on her facebook and twitter account and requested her friends and followers to spot him.

Her dog Jack jumped on a commuter train and reached to Dublin. After Patch arrived in Dublin railway station on Wednesday morning without an owner, Irish Rail sent a “Lost dog!” tweet with the Patch’s photo. The message was retweeted 500 times in just 32 minutes until it was spotted by Anglin who quickly replied to Irish Rail: “That’s my dog!”

Anglin thanked Irish Rail for posting Patch’s photo on Twitter and all the other retweeters that helped her find Patch so quickly.
