What is dark mode in Windows 10 Mail app?
Although Microsoft has not enabled Dark Mode in Microsoft Edge, Settings or Mail app in Anniversary Update, this feature would be available in the Creators Update. Talking about the function of Dark Mode, you can enable a night friendly or low light friendly user interface with the help of dark mode in the Mail app. Sometimes, we get eye strain because of high-level brightness. If you need to work on Mail app consistently, you may need to enable dark mode in Windows 10 Mail app since it will let you lower the screen brightness. Enable dark mode in Windows 10 Mail app
To activate to enable dark mode in Windows 10 Mail app, you do not need any third party software or any other Registry tweak since Microsoft has included this feature in the Mail app settings itself. Therefore, follow the following steps to get it done.
- Open the Mail app. You can open it from anywhere as there is no restriction. You can open it from the Taskbar, Taskbar search box, Start Menu, etc.
- After opening it hit the Settings gear button visible on the bottom-left corner.
- On the right-hand side, you can find an option called Personalisation. Click on that.
- Now under the Colours option, you can find three other options aka Light mode, Dark mode and Use my Windows mode. By default, the Light mode is selected. Just choose the Dark mode among the three options.
